1. Lincoln Rental Agreement

All Lincoln rentals are subject to a detailed Rental Agreement provided at booking confirmation or vehicle collection. This agreement contains the specific terms, conditions, insurance coverage, charges, and your responsibilities for the rental. If there is any conflict between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will prevail.

2. Lincoln Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from Lincoln, you must:

  • For Lincoln rentals, be at least 21 years old (age limits may differ by vehicle type, and drivers under 25 may incur extra charges). Hold a valid, full driving licence appropriate to the vehicle category, held for the minimum period stated in the Rental Agreement. Provide valid identification, proof of address and a payment method when collecting the vehicle.

3. Lincoln Booking and Payment

  • Bookings can be made through our website, by phone, or in person at our Lincoln location. A booking deposit may be required to confirm your reservation. Full payment and the security deposit are normally payable on collection of the vehicle. All prices are shown in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable.

4. Vehicle Pickup and Return

  • You must inspect your Lincoln thoroughly at collection and report any existing damage immediately. A vehicle condition report will be completed and signed. Return the Lincoln in the same condition as collected, permitting normal wear and tear. Any new damage identified on return will be assessed and charged to you.

5. Insurance and Liability for Lincoln

  • Basic third-party insurance is included with all Lincoln rentals. Full coverage details and excess amounts are provided in the Rental Agreement. Additional insurance options may be available to reduce your financial liability. Please review these options carefully. You are responsible for damage or loss up to the excess amount specified in the Rental Agreement.

6. Lincoln Cancellation and Changes

Lincoln's cancellation and amendment policies vary by booking type and notice period. Refer to your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement for specific details. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur charges.

7. Lincoln Restrictions

You must not use the Lincoln vehicle for:

  • Use of a Lincoln vehicle for any illegal activity. Racing, rallying, off-roading, or other hazardous activities. Transporting hazardous or dangerous materials. Sub-letting to third parties or permitting unauthorized drivers. Operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Use for purposes for which the vehicle is not intended...

Breaching Lincoln's policies could lead to instant rental termination and extra fees.

8. Limitations on Lincoln’s Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by English and Welsh law, Lincoln will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.

9. Governing Law (Lincoln)

These Terms for Lincoln are governed by English and Welsh law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English and Welsh courts.

10. Changes to Lincoln Terms

Lincoln may modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting on Lincoln’s website. Your continued use of Lincoln’s services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
